New York Artist Michael Albert creates Pop Art collages of a selection of such classics as Juicyfruits, Bit-O-Honey, Good & Plenty & York Peppermint Patty and some classic nostalgic brands like Cracker Jack, Mr. Bubble & Barnum's Animal Crackers! These original artworks, which he calls the “Sweet Suite”, were created by Albert over the past 7 years starting with a collage 'portrait' of a Frosted Flakes box he created in 1996. He called this cereal box collage the first of his 'Cerealism' works and was his first in a series of compositions made from actual consumer product packaging where he makes deconstructed and then reconstructed versions of the product brands from which the art is made. It is indeed fun & challenging to guess which products the collages are of.

He has also taken his art to a new level by founding the organic juice company Sir Real. The packaging features Michael Alberts original designs. www.sirreal.com

Sergio Furnari was born in Sicily in the famous town of Caltagirone, which has been revered since the ancient time of Greece for it's beautiful sculpture. True to his environment, an innate, artistic talent became evident early in his life, and by age five he was drawing and sculpting. Though appreciative of his background, the young furnari had a fascination with New York City, and during his first visit at age eighteen, he discovered
that behind the impressive skyscrapers were immigrants from all over the world. To him, this made New York City the greatest city on earth.

His sculptures represent regular hard-working people with their own joy and sadness of life. Furnari's approach is both sensitive and whimsical, and his
keen ability to show emotion instantly brings the viewer into his subjects world. His sculptures come alive, as if they may have souls. "Even a thousand years from now they will still be alive," Furnari says.

Performance photographer Andrea Schneider makes her debut with her first major gallery show. She captures the raw emotion and passion of dancers, actors, and rock/jazz bands in her photographs. She is a contributing photographer to the HereIsNewYork.org project, the upcoming PBS series Freedom: A History of Us, and to Substance TV, an editorial-style DVD magazine. Whether black & white or color photos, her ability to frame the subject matter with dynamic use of positive and negative space is truly amazing... and add in her dramatic use of natural and artificial light and what you've got is a rising star in the photography world. alsnyc@lycos.com

In the unpredictable world of rock 'n' roll, Kevin Mazur knows that capturing the energy and excitement of concerts, as well as the intimate moments behind the scenes, requires patience and imagination.

As a prominent music and celebrity photographer, Mazur has caught dramatic moments on and off stage of some of the world's most recognized musicians, including this one of Keith Richards, and others of Billy Joel, Madonna, Kurt Cobain, and Bob Dylan - just to name a few.

"I enjoy the rush of shooting during a performance to capture the energy between a musician and the audience," says Mazur, who got his start in photography by sneaking a camera into the innumerable concerts he attended and shooting performers from his seat. In time, he was receiving formal invitations to photograph and document musicians' world tours, the making of music videos or appearances at special events such as the Grammys or the Academy Awards.

For more than 18 years now, Kevin Mazur has traveled the world capturing performers for numerous publications including Rolling Stone, People, Entertainment Weekly, Musician, Spin US, and Newsweek. Recently, Mazur was featured in a VH1 documentary "Behind the Music, The Image Makers" about rock 'n' roll photographers.

Kevin is one of the main photographers of the largest international digital photo service, Wire Image. His photos are published almost on a daily basis in major magazines and newspapers around the world. www.WireImage.com
